Our Coleman Golf Team became more like a family in 2009. We gained five players and had players of varying skill levels. Score, however, was secondary to the heart and pride these kids put into their school, their team and the game of golf as well. We say goodbye to Evan Leahy, Josh Natoli and 2009 Team Captain, John Quigley. We wish them good luck in their futures and look forward to keeping in touch. Our team had 4 freshmen and 2 sophomores as well. We had some eighth graders train with us and they will join us officially in 2010. As a golf professional and instructor of adults and children alike, I have never dealt with as fine a group of individuals as the kids who make up the John A. Coleman Varsity golf team.
